The ball moves up and down on a string/rod,
but when the magician says “Stop!” the ball immediately stops
and then starts descending again when he says “Let’s go!
The magician shows the audience an empty plate or tray. He or she demonstrates that there is nothing on the plate by showing it from both sides. He or she then shakes the plate or tray in the air and pours out a glass.
